Sketchup Developed Images

The first and second floors are CJ Hendry workshop, ground floor is the showroom and underground is the Gucci workshop.
Materials include concrete for floors, steel for structural elements supporting the stairs and landings.

The exterior of the white building is meant to be a white glass. I left it as white to see its form and structure easily which represents a scrunched piece of paper.
The dark underground level that is coming out of the ground is made of concrete which is covered by a thin layer of glass for natural lighting.

Walls & the structure consists of concrete whilst the stairs are made of timber to contrast with Gucci products.

Short Movie

Here is a short ASMR video on scrunching tissue paper. It every much represents my above ground construction based on the verb "Scrunch".

Chosen Textures for Sketchup

Distorted - Below Ground

Translucent - Glass
Warped - Below to Showroom Stairs

Sketchup Model

Distorted (Black background with white lines) was used to represent the structure of the underground level and hence the form of the Gucci ring.
The translucent texture was used to show a transparent glass that allows light to shine under the ground.

Warped (bendy lines) represented the stems that connected the upper and lower stairs together as it flexibly bent its way or warped through to connect.

Design 1 Stairs

Sectional Sketches

Glass stair supported by steel structures. This design is based on the intrinsic structure of a scrunched up paper. I have incorporated a main structural element that very much resembles the form of a scrunched paper.

Sectional Sketches

Timber element combining the top to the bottom stair. This element is represented in 'Warped' texture. The flow of this design was constructed from the from the idea of combining the starting position to the ending position. This idea was drawn out of the Gucci ring (project image) as the start and end meet.

Design 2

Combination of Curve in the first section and Paper in the second section.

Still need to close the front and back
